Bray Churches Together first started in the 1970s, when Fr John O’Connell encouraged the church leaders in the town to come together for fellowship. Over the years, these gatherings grew and, from them, interdenominational services and events developed.
Now each worshipping community appoints one representative to contribute to the Bray Churches Together Steering Group, to bring input from their community to the Group, and to encourage those in their community to get involved in Bray Churches Together initiatives. For further details of our Structure click here.
The Steering Group initiates occasional events [for further details click here] throughout the year in accordance with the following Mission Statement:
The activities of Bray Churches Together promote:-
- co-operation between our worshipping communities as we witness to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
