At our annual Unity Service in 2012, we launched an initiative to encourage people in Bray to pray for our town.  We have produced a laminated Prayer Card with A Daily Prayer of Blessing for the town of Bray on one side, and A Promise from the Bible on the other side.  Both of these are shown below.

The prayer starts with a blessing to pray for our immediate neighbourhood, the street where we live.  It then continues with a blessing for the whole of our town, and a prayer for different aspects of life in Bray.  It concludes with the familiar words from the ‘Our Father’ that are so powerful, ‘may Your kingdom come and Your will be done as it is in heaven’.
